What is CocoNene?

CocoNene is our Made in Hawaii brand, showcasing all the décor and gift items that we make at our Kapolei, Hawaii facility. Our CocoNene brand products can be found in all of our Island Sole stores, along with a collection of island-inspired apparel, totes and bags. Our Island Sole stores also carry footwear by Olukai, Birkenstock, Havaianas and other premium brands.

Are your products really made in Hawaii?

Yes! All our décor and gift products are manufactured at our facility in Kapolei, Hawaii. While the raw materials are sourced outside of Hawaii, everything is designed, cut, assembled and printed right here on island with the help of dye sublimation, or Colorfuse, technology. Our apparel, totes and hats are made overseas and designed & printed in Hawaii.

What is your privacy policy?

We will never share your e-mail address or personal information with any third parties. Any information collected on this website will be used for fraud control, order verification or internal marketing purposes only.

What is Colorfuse?

 

Colorfuse, or dye sublimation, is the process of permanently fusing dye into various materials, including metal, maplewood and fabric. The result is fun, unique, made-in-Hawaii products that you can’t find anywhere else, including slippers, metal art and home decor.
All of our Colorfuse print products are made locally at our Kapolei, HI facility, and feature artwork by Hawaii artists. Our company of nearly 200 employees is made up of dedicated people who care deeply about our community. Together, we support a creative platform for Hawaii’s locally-sourced talent, artists and craftsmen.

Orders & Shipping

When will my order ship?

Please allow 2-3 business days for orders to be processed, plus an additional 3 days for shipping. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped, which will include a Fed Ex or USPS tracking number.

What’s the status of my order? How do I track my order?

Upon placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation that your order is being processed. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that contains your tracking information. You can also check your order status at any time by visiting the Orders section of “My Account” page.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping to anywhere in the US for orders over $75. For orders less than this amount, we offer $10 flat rate shipping to anywhere in the US and $25 flat rate shipping to select international countries.

What are your shipping methods?

We ship via Fed Ex or USPS. Shipping method is determined by our Logistics team at time of shipment.

How do I change or cancel an order?

If for any reason you would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, keep in mind our system is designed to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has entered the shipping process.

What is your return policy?

Apparel and ready-made merchandise can be returned within 30 days of purchase as long as it meets the following guidelines:
• The product is returned with the original merchandise tags
• There are no visible signs of wear and tear; apparel must be unworn and in resalable condition
Please note all shipping costs incurred through the purchase and return of the merchandise will not be refunded.
Custom orders are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards in-store and on the web, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB.

Is my personal and credit card information safe on your website?

Yes. We’ve taken several steps to ensure all information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access or use. All transactions are completed on a secure server. In secure mode, your computer and our server send data back and forth in an encrypted format.

Care, Usage & Sizing

Why does the t-shirt say “Made in China?”

The shirt blanks are made in China, but the designs are by local artists and the printing is done locally here in Hawaii.

What are the care instructions for t-shirts?

Machine wash t-shirts in cold water and tumble dry on low. Use non-chlorine bleach when required. Do not iron decoration.

Do the t-shirts shrink? Are they true to size?

No, the t-shirts do not shrink. They are a cotton and polyester blend, so the shape and sizing will stay intact, even if you wash and dry on high heat. All t-shirts run true to size, although the women’s tanks are slightly wider in the armhole area.

Will Island Sole slippers give me blisters? Does the footbed print fade over time?

The slippers should not give you blisters, however each person’s feet or experience will vary. Like most footwear, the slippers stretch and soften over time, and become more comfortable with continued wear. The print will not fade from normal use, as it is permanently fused into the polyester strands.

Do the Island Sole slippers come in different widths?

Yes, we offer a unisex footbed with wide straps and a women’s slim footbed with slim straps. For more information on our sizes, please refer to our sizing chart below.

Do you carry Women’s size 4 slippers?

Women’s size 4 footwear can be found in the Youth section in Island Sole stores.

What are the Kavai Charms used for?

The charms can dress up any apparel, including slippers, bags and hats, by simply poking the pin through the material and securing on the backside with the clamp. You can even bedazzle your phone or electronics by using super glue to secure the charm.
